“Our daughter, Emma, got married on Christmas Eve in Taos, NM...We were so fortunate to have heard about cellist, Rebecca Carón and Enchanted Music from the Events Coordinator at El Monte Sagrado Hotel. Rebecca is not only a gifted musician, she is also truly caring and lovely to work with. She goes above and beyond to make sure the music at your event is exactly what you hoped for!"

"Rebecca Caron and I have worked together for over a decade while assisting brides with their very special day including classical music. Rebecca is a true professional in every way and provides the couples and their families with lifelong memories of their cherished ceremonial and reception music. She is connected to the best group of talented musicians in our area and provides a “one call” location for brides to communicate with all her fellow musicians. It is helpful that she is kind and very patient with those that do not have the knowledge of music and musical instruments or scores that she has. She is their guide, and they are so thankful to have her and the talent she provides them.

Working with Rebecca on music for our events other than weddings has been rewarding and truly inspirational. She continues to provide high quality talent at affordable pricing which makes it so easy for those of us who plan and organize the events throughout the Enchanted Circle of Northern New Mexico.

Rebecca is not only a colleague, but a trusted friend that I am so proud to share clients with this awesome woman."

"Rebecca of Enchanted Music and her accompanist... played at my daughter's wedding this past weekend at the Taos Ski Valley. I can not begin to express my gratitude to Rebecca. Our original plan for music at the ceremony changed last minute due to a family emergency and Rebecca was able to step in with a very short notice. She provided the most beautiful music for the guest waiting for the ceremony to begin, through the procession and as my daughter walked down with her father to the alter. We had an unexpected delay during the ceremony while we were waiting for the rings to be passed throughout the guests for a blessing and she was able to pick up and play some more beautiful music that she was not expecting to have to do, but you would not have know by how seamlessly she played. She also then continued to play as the bride and groom chose to take pictures with their guests as they left making everyone feel the true spirit of the beautiful wedding in a beautiful venue with beautiful music. Aside from the amazing talent Rebecca showed, I would also like to comment on her incredible professionalism as she was challenged with high wind gusts, changes and delays and adjusted without a hitch. I hope every bride and groom in the Albuquerque/Taos area are blessed enough to have Rebecca/Enchanted Music play for them. Rebecca, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the Moorhead/Pfeiffer wedding amazing!."

Booking Information

Prices

Enchanted Music Pricing includes quality items most other music vendors do not include: attendance of the Artistic Director at rehearsal for your special event if rehearsal is entailed, or venue site visitation to preview and organize details the day prior to your event. This ensures proper coordination of details for your event so the music flows together seamlessly with the elements of your event. We also include a new music allowance to accommodate special requests that are not on our repertoire list. Prices start at a minimum of 1 hour due to implicit travel, set up and pack up times. We accommodate music for full Catholic Mass as well as any other special requests whenever possible.

New Music Allowance

Each client is allotted a budget for special request music not on my repertoire list for the ensemble hired: $25 for solo cello, $30.00 for duo, $40.00 for trio and $50.00 for string quartet. Requests that exceed that amount will be billed for the cost of the sheet music, if a printed edition. These fees apply to music that is already in print as pdf, or sheet music for the selected ensemble. If you want something that is not available I have an arranger and can request a quote from him for the desired arrangement.

Travel

will be billed @ 67.5 cents per mile, .75 mile for distances of 85 miles, or more from musician’s home. This is individually calculated per performing musician.

Booking Fee

Combine your booking fee with the performance fee for the length of time you want. Gross Receipts Tax: Taos County, where my office is located, and that gross receipts tax rate will be added to the total invoiced amount for services.

Total cost

Booking fee for ensemble + amount of performance time + gross receipts tax, + applicable travel and any amount that exceeds the new music allowance. (So far no one has exceeded their allowance).

Other Conditions

We provide continuous music for your event, with the exception of solo cello. For solo

cello I take a brief break every 1 1/2 hours as needed. For duets and larger ensembles

we achieve continuous music for your event by going from duet to solo, or trio to duet,

or quartet to trio while each performing musician takes a break as needed, usually once per 1 1/2 hour increments.

Weather protection: If your event is in an outdoor setting without a well covered area to protect musicians from precipitation, or sun, Enchanted Music owns a 10x10 white top tent. Side tarps only need to be deployed for hard, driving rain that blows into the tent, or for hail. We have welcomed as many event guests into our space as possible in the event of hard rain/ hail. We joke that we should charge admission, but of course, we don’t.

Meal provision: If your event coincides with meal time please provide meals for us,

along with your other events. Often, depending on location we are not able to get to a

restaurant between your event and our homes.

Lodging: In the very rare event of weather conditions that prevent travel, i.e. blizzards

with high snowfall amounts, or a dangerous lack of visibility, we request lodging.

Whenever possible I / we secure lodging with friends in the area if your event is near

Santa Fe, NM, or Albuquerque. It is very rare to require such lodging.

"Rebecca Caron came highly recommended to us for our Winter Wonderland wedding in the mountains of Red River, New Mexico by our phenomenal coordinator, Karen Kelly. I always dreamed of having a professional musician play the cello for my wedding. Once we established Rebecca would be a large part of our special occasion, I received a phone call from her to ask our desires for the music we would like to hear. The music selection we chose that seemed so simple had far more detail when speaking with Rebecca. I was not aware of the different versions for each piece of music, and she was willing to coach me every step of the way. Rebecca analyzed our selections and created the most beautiful harmony and melody. The quality of the arrangements was top notch! We were truly grateful when she offered to attend our rehearsal so we could listen to the selections prior to hearing them on our special day. Rebecca actively listened to our desires and answered with more than I could ever have dreamed of. I still wish to this day we had to opportunity to hear Rebecca perform live again. The amazing thing about music: there's a song for every emotion. The emotions on my wedding day were partly from the snowy scenic view, but mostly from the music Rebecca performed. Rebecca Caron is one of a kind and thankfully we have still been able to keep in close touch."
